Classroom
In-Person Classroom – 30 Hours or
Online Classroom – 30 hours
Our program begins by enrolling in one of our regularly scheduled Driver’s Ed classes. During this class you will observe and participate as a student, or you can complete our online course.
You will be required to complete our In-Person or Online Class before you begin your in-car instruction.
Behind-the-Wheel
Beginning
During your in-car instruction, you will spend 6 hours driving students and 6 hours observing students accompanied by a certified instructor. You must complete 8 lessons. Each lesson includes 45 minutes instructing new students and 45 minutes observing new students.
Intermediate
Once you have satisfactorily completed your beginning behind-the-wheel phase you will begin driving students independently and review your results with a certified instructor as needed for 20-30 hours.
Advanced
This is your final evaluation period. During this phase of the apprenticeship program, you will be accompanied by a certified instructor who will complete a thorough evaluation of your final 6 hours and complete certification. You will complete the balance to the 50-hour requirement.
Once you have completed the apprenticeship program, you will receive a Certificate of Completion, and you will be able to work for any private driving school or start your own driving business.
Being accepted into our apprenticeship program is not an offer of employment and there is no guarantee of employment once the course is completed. You must satisfactorily complete each phase before moving on to the next phase.
