The
classroom portion of this class is taught entirely online the through the Idaho Digital Learning Academy (IDLA) .
This is Ideal for students with hectic schedules and not able to attend a class. We can arrange the behind-the-wheel
portion of the class around most schedules.
Summer course
begins June 18th, 2010 - student permits must be purchased and in-car instructor confirmed by June
18th, 2010.
- driving and observation must be scheduled between July 2nd and August 20th, 2010.
IDLA is a public
school program and only schedules a few on-line classes per year, However if you have a group or team that would like to take
an on-line class together, we can schedule it. The IDLA Driver Education course
meets all of Idaho's stringent requirements for earning a driver's license and includes a nine-week on-line class, in conjunction
with six hours of driving instruction and six hours of observation with a certified instructor.
Register one at a time or as a group. We will begin a class as soon are
we register 8-10 students.
The State of Idaho requires 30
hours of classroom instruction, 6 hours behind-the-wheel and 6 hours of in-car observation.
Here is how it works. - Register on-line now for your driving instruction and observation time. You can do this on our registration
page. Just choose the option for IDLA.
- You will also need to register
with IDLA. This is done thru your school, however, we will coordinate to make sure the process runs smoothly.
- The cost of the on-line portion of the class is $75.00. This fee must be paid to IDLA.
- Behind-the-Wheel instruction is $275.00.
